1992/08/25 Community Development Agency Minutes COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK MQNUTES August 25, 1992 The Members of the Community Development Agency of the City of Rohnert Park met this date immediately after the City Council meeting at approximately 9:15 p.m. in the City Offices, 6750 Commerce Boulevard, Rohnert Park, with Chairperson Pro-Termpore Hollingsworth presiding. Call to Order Chairperson Pro-Tempore Hollingsworth called the meeting of the Community Develop*ijnt Agency of the City of Rohnert Park to order at approximately 9:15 p.m. Roll Call Present: (3) Agency Members Eck, Reilly and Chairperson Pro-Tempore Hollingsworth Absent: (2) Agency Member Hopkins and Chairperson Spiro Staff present for all or part of the meeting: Executive Director/City Manager Netter, City Attorney Flitner, and Assistant to the City Manager Leivo. Approval of Minutes Upon motion by Agency Member Reilly, seconded by Chairperson Pro-Tempore, the minutes of August 11, 1992 were unanimously approved as submitted with the exception of Agency Member Eck abstaining from said minutes due to absence from the meeting. Approval of Bills Upon motion by Agency Member Reilly, seconded by Agency Member Eck, the bills presented per attached list in the amount of $523,885.42 were unanimously approved. Acknowledging The Executive Director/Secretary's report on the posting Exe.Dir./Sec.Report of the agenda was acknowledged. thscheduled Public Chairperson Pro-Tempore Hollingsworth stated that in Appearances compliance with State Law, (The Brown Act) , anyone in the audience who wished to make a comment may do so at this time. No one responded. Burbank Housing Executive Director Netter referenced copies provided to Development Council of draft agreement with Burbank Housing Corporation Development Corporation and said this item had been reviewed at the previous Agency meeting of August 11 , 1992. He reminded Agency that the agreement was an attempt to protect the City' s housing set aside funds since the State is looking to extract such to assist with the budget crisis. Mt. Netter said Burbank Housing has a COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY/CITY OF ROHNERT PARK MINUTES (2) August 25, 1992 good track record and most likely will be the non-profit agency that the City will use. Staff is making efforts to develop sore kind of commitment with the agreement that will be strong enough to commit and encumber the funds. City Attorney Flitner has reviewed the agreement. Discussion followed. Resolution No. 92-09 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH BURBANK HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ON USE OF REDEVELOPMENT AREA HOUSING SET ASIDE FUNDS A motion was made by Agency Member Eck, seconded by Agency Member Reilly, and unanimously approved, to enter into the agreement with Burbank Housing Corporation for use of housing set aside funds, as recommended by staff, by the adoption of Resolution No. 92-09. Unscheduled Public Chairperson Pro-Tenure Hollingsworth asked if anyone in Appearances the audience wished to make an appearance at this time. No one responded.
