THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK MINUTES
February 23, 1993
The Members of the Community Development Agency of the City of
Rohnert Park met this date immediately after the City Council
rreeting at approximately 10:15 p.m. in the City Offices, 6750
Commerce Boulevard, Rohnert Park, with Chairperson Pro-Tempore
Reilly presiding.
Call to Order-Chairperson Pro-Tempore Reilly called the rreeting of the Community
Development Agency of the City of Rohnert Park to order at
approximately 10:15 p.m.
Roll Call Present: (5) Agency Members Eck, Gallagher, Spiro and
Chairperson Pro-Tempore Reilly
Absent: (1) Chairperson Hollingsworth (snowbound in Utah)
Staff present for all or part of the meeting : Executive
Director/City Manager Netter, City Attorney Flitner, Assistant
to the City Manager Leivo and Director of Public Works/City
Engineer Brust.
Approval Upon motion by Agency Member Eck, seconded by Agency Member
of Gallagher, the minutes of February 9 , 1993 were unanimously
Minutes approved as submitted.
Approval Upon nation by Agency Member Eck, seconded by Agency Member
of Gallagher, the bills presented per attached list in the amount of
Bills $41,463.67 were unanimously approved.
Acknowledging The Executive Director/Secretary's report on the posting
Exe.Dir./Sec.Report of the agenda was acknowledged.
Unscheduled Chairperson Pro-Tenpore Reilly stated that in compliance with
Public State Law, (The Brown Act) , anyone in the audience who wished to
Appearances make a comment may do so at this time. No one responded.
PETALUMA PEOPLE SERVICES/HOMELESS PREVENTION PROGRAM - request for funds:
Executive Director Netter explained the resolution for Agency
consideration as reviewed in copies provided to Agency of staff
report regarding same. Staff recommends approval as submitted.
Ralph Jones, 5309 Country Club Drive, Chairman of Rohnert Park Homeless
Prevention Service Center reviewed purpose of this program to
provide assistance to people in the community who are about to
become homeless. He gave various examples of such loan provisions
explaining reasons for current depletion of available funds
leading to tonight's request for funds. M>r. Jones responded to
various Agency questions regarding the Homeless Prevention Program
as provided in content of above-referenced staff report.

Resolution
No.93-01 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH PETALUMA PEOPLE SERVICES
CENTER TO CONDUCT A PROGRAM TO PREVENT HOUSEHOLDS FROM BECOMING
HOMELESS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIREc'1UR TO EXECUTE SUCH
AN AGREEMENT
Upon motion by Agency Nbrrber Spiro seconded by Agency Member
Gallagher, and unanimously approved, reading of Resolution No.
93-01 was waived and said resolution was adopted, signifying
Agency approval for Petaluma People Services as presented and
recon ended by staff.
Unscheduled Public Appearances:
Chairperson Pro-Tempore Reilly asked if anyone in the audience
wished to make an appearance at this time. No one responded.
Adjournment There being no further business , Chairperson Pro-Tempore
Reilly adjourned the meeting at approximately 10:25 p.m.
