May 28, 1996
The Members of the Community Development Commission of the City of Rohnert Park
met this date immediately after the City Council meeting at approximately 10:15 p.m. in
the City Offices. 6750 Commerce Boulevard. Rohnert Park, with Chairman Flores
presiding.
CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Flores called the Community Development Commission to order at
approximately 10:15 p.m.
ROLL CALL Present: (5 ) Commission Members Eck, Gallagher, Reilly, Spiro and
Chairman Flores
Absent: (0 ) None
Staff present for all or part of the meeting: Executive Director/City Manager Netter
and City Attorney Flitner.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Upon motion by Commission Member Gallagher, seconded by
Commission Member Eck, Minutes of May 14, 1996, were unanimously approved as
submitted.
APPROVAL OF BILLS: Upon motion by Commission Member Eck, seconded by Commission
Member Spiro, the bills presented per the attached list in the amount of $42,510.69
were unanimously approved.
ACKNOWLEDGING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/SECRETARY'S REPORT:
The Executive Director/Secretary's report on the posting of the agenda was
acknowledged.
UNSCHEDULED PUBLIC APPEARANCES: Chairman Flores stated that in compliance with State
Law(The Brown Act), citizens wishing to make a comment may do so at this time.
Resolution
No. 96-04 MODIFYING SITE LEASE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER SITE
Executive Director Netter referenced coinciding resolution explained and adopted
during the preceding City Council meeting. -- Upon motion by Commission Member
Eck, seconded by Commission Member Reilly, and unanimously approved, reading of
Resolution No. 96-04 was waived and said resolution was adopted.

MISCELLANEOUS STAFF REPORTS:
Rancho Feliz issues on Mobile Home Park Purchase -- City Attorney Flitner reviewed
communications he had this afternoon with the attorney for Rancho Feliz on the
payment for the coach penalty advising he will pay the designated coach penalty
assessment, so the City Attorney will sign off on that. Comments included that the
purchase agreement provides a hold harmless for the City on the Yates case. The
attorney for Rancho Feliz said he recalls the former park owner signifying he will
accept responsibility for any acts prior to time of purchase, so these concerns will
not proceed to litigation calendaring. City Attorney Flitner advised he will summarize
this item in a memorandum to be distributed to the Commission/Council Members for
review and information.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, Chairman Flores adjourned the meeting at
approximately 10.1 S p.m.
