SENIOR ADVISORY COMMISSION
MINUTES
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2009
The senior Citizens' advisory Commission of the City of Rohnert Park met this date in regular session
commencing at 1:00 pm at the Codding Center, 6800 hunter Drive, Suite A, Rohnert Park with Secretary
Elaine Sampson presiding.
Call to order: Elaine Sampson called meeting to order and let the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call: Present: Elaine Sampson,Janie Hawker, Carlos Deza
Absent: Marion Ackerman, Susan Snyder
Berni Altman reported that Susan Snyder resigned and was writing to Gina Belforte.
Janie Hawker moved that elections of new officers be postponed until next meeting.
and was seconded. Motion approved.
Approval of
Minutes: Minutes of May 21'2009 not available.
Posting of Secretary Sampson acknowledged that the agenda was posted as requires by law in three(3)
The Agenda: public locations with the time period required.
Unscheduled Public appearances: None
New business: An Ad Hoc Committee was formed at request of Carlos Deza and Pat Anderson(part of
Center Support Committee). Ad hoc will be led by Carlos Deza. They have authority to
prioritize needs, etc. and write grants. Then they must report to Commission before any
action taken.
City Council Mayor Breeze gave the council report.
Liaison Report:
City Council Tony Hotaling gave this report.

Adjournment: There being no furt6her business and no=one further desiring to be heard, it was moved
And seconded to adjourn meeting at 2:25pm. Next meeting will be held on Thursday,
January 21, 2010.
