City Council Armando Flores handed out an update report. A new roof was installed
Liaison at Callinan Sports Center which will be appreciated this winter. Equally
Report important is the installation of new exercise equipment that will keep our
citizens fit and in good health.
The city has purchased an existing building near the present City Hall and
will remodel it according to"green standards"to avoid the high cost of
building a new building.
As an emergency measure the Council voted to restrict the conversion of
apartment complexes to condominiums. There is concern that residents
will suffer because of loss of affordable housing.
There are problems in the dog park. Misbehaving dogs violate our pet
safety policies. If a person is bitten it must be reported. Vicious dogs
