**New Business**
Budget Helper Committee — to help with new special events for raising
revenue. Committee members are Hazel, Ann, Betty and Lee.
Computer Lab is under way. We have two systems, Valerie Marsh is
working on getting them set up. We hope to have classes and lab time
beginning in June.
**Board Member Reports**
Fun After 50: Going as strong as ever. Always getting new members. 186
on the roster. More men. Thankfully all members don't come at the same
time, or there wouldn't be enough room for them all. 4 Mondays in March
with total attendance of 432.
Dining Site: (per Hazel) 54 home deliveries today. 32 congregate diners.
Still keeping very busy. 496 diners for the month of March.
Gift Shoppe: March sales were $1,592.50 ($354.00 at the Senior
Celebration). $159 to the Senior Center, Commissions totaled $1,291 in 31
checks. As of 3/31 their inventory totaled $4,350. Current consignors total
46. 238 visitors in March.

Senior Advisory: New commissioner to fill E'Lane Bielecki's position.
Georgia Todd to be installed at the next meeting on May 16. Discussion
ensued about getting people to attend the meetings.
Recreation Specialist: See attached for statistics. Horseracing, Karaoke,
Bingo, and Step out for Senior Centers are upcoming events. No casino trip
in May. The Bunny Basket raffle brought in a profit of$72.00. Wendy
learned about a pre-school class at a Senior Center as a way of increasing
revenue — will think more about that when the Senior Center expands.
Recreation Coordinator: Baking Committee received $2 cash, $54.59 in
supplies. Monthly expense is averaging $1 .20. Black & White Ball so far
has received cash donations of$1,805. Auction has received items from 16
wineries, 10 hotels, 15 businesses including Harrah's Las Vegas. Yardbirds
is loaning greenery, Beverly's candelabras, and Rotary will be doing the bar.
The Rogers will donate all the wine. Vintage Choir concert will be on
Sunday, 6/23. Tix on sale 5/13. Raffle proceeds to be given directly to the
choir. Variety show award from CPRS. We will nominate the B/W ball for
next year's awards. Working on show for the Scottish Rite, which will
donate $1,500 to the Senior Center.
Recreation Services Manager: CPRS conference was great for networking.
Working on programs fro 0-2 year olds, music, etc,...a great revenue source.
Summer activity guide out with 9 summer camps this summer. Some are '/Z
filled already. June 1st working on the 24 hour relay by SCAYD at SSU.
Also assisting with CPRS District I Leadership workshop for summer camp
staff.
Recreation Director: Skate park is waiting for funding and approval for
vehicle access. Budget — suggestions were made. Many want government
to be run as a business, but then complain when services are cut. Higher
subsidy areas are the ones people really care about (seniors, teens, pools).
There was a meeting last night with the city council and school board where
they discussed Crane school — building department not to move in.
**Other Items for Discussion**
Hazel is trying to get Cotati seniors interested in coming to the Senior
Center. Cotati is planning on a community/senior center at old school site.
Adjournment at 2:15pm
