Unscheduled Public Appearances - none
**New Business**
Floors — the bathrooms in Suite C will be getting new flooring to help
prevent future damage to the Activity Room floor should there be any more
leaks.
**Board Member Reports**
Fun After 50: Gearing up for the Fair in October. Member Joan Williams
has been active with the new library committee. 5 Mondays in July with
total attendance of 465. Served hot dogs on the 5th Monday.
Dining Site: (per Hazel) home delivery has slowed a bit. Pam is happy in
her job and it shows. 643 diners for the month of March.
Gift Shoppe: (presented by Tim) $596.00 in sales. $60 to the Senior
Center. $477.36 in commissions/24 checks. 96 active consignors. 206
visitors in July. Business is slow. 201 volunteer hours.
Senior Advisory: (presented by Tim) City Manager and Finance Director
gave a presentation on the City budget. Hoping for success with the tax
measures on the November ballot. Water meter installation to begin soon.
Recreation Specialist: See attached for statistics. Computer lab is coming
along slowly. Auction/supper on August 9. One drop-in participant was
evicted by Public Safety for bizarre and harmful behavior. Flea market stats
- On July 19 we made $389.45 on the flea market, and $130.72 on the hot
dog lunch. Also had 76.5 volunteer hours. We have a new display case in
the lobby. This was donated by the autobiographical writing class in

memory of John Chipps, who was a member of the class. Pat Cassinelli has
expressed an interest in being on the board of directors. It was MIS by
Elaine and Hazel, and passed unanimously to have Pat join the board.
Recreation Coordinator: Baking Committee received $35 cash, $81.30 in
supplies. Monthly expense is averaging $0. Day trips in July were to Point
Reyes, and two trips to the Sonoma County Fair. The Scottish Rite show
had a lot of time involved and the show was great. Sadly, only 80 tickets
were sold (15 from the Senior Center). Vicki is now working on the variety
show, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2"d. Tickets go on sale Sept. 3.
Recreation Director: it's a busy time of year. 4 pools are closing this
weekend, H pool to stay open a little bit longer.
**Other Items for Discussion**
Suggestion by a city employee to hold regular "bake sales" with people
putting in their orders. Vicki will take it up with the Baking Committee.
