MINUTES
Thursday, September 12, 2002

**New Business**
None
**Board Member Reports**
Fun After 50: Over 100 in attendance each week. Dues are now $8.00/year,
up from $6.00/year. They are busy with the fair preparations. They will
have a booth at Founders Day.
Dining Site: been doing very well
Gift Shoppe: Re: consignors — people sign up, bring in one item, drop out.
There are now 54 active consignors. $936.45 sales in August, $94.00 to
City. $771 in commissions, 27 checks. 229 visitors. July and august total
sales are $500 ahead from last year's sales.
Senior Advisory: no meeting in August.
Recreation Specialist: See attached for statistics. Musical Revue netted us
$935.00. Auction brought in $865.80 including cash and paper goods. We
are collaborating with Sonoma County Youth Sports Bingo Club, providing
a large raffle basket each month. New special event in Sept is Game Time —
Bingo and Putting. There will also be another Karaoke and More party, plus
the Red Hat Ladies will be holding a Teddy Bear Picnic in A park.
Recreation Coordinator: absent
Recreation Director: A wheel chair has been donated to the RPCC from
the Senior Center. Boys & Girls Club has moved from the old fire station to
the Benecia Park Building.
**Old Business**
Computer lab will be open soon -- has Internet hook up now.

**Other Items for Discussion**
Pat Cassinelli brought up the fact that the food donations from Raley's
should be left out for people to take — not put aside for rental groups (Sunday
church).
There was discussion about the air conditioning.
There was discussion about Marion Wells speaking ill of others, butting into
conversations, etc.
Discussion about the moving of our "memorial wall" from the drop-in to the
hallway.
