**New Business**
Volunteer Tea — will be on Wednesday, January 15 at the Community
Center.
**Board Member Reports**
Fun After 50: Installation of new officers was done, Betty is still editor of
the Nifty Fifities. 5 Mondays in Dec. with 510 in attendance.
Dining Site: Hazel reported that Pam had 48 people registered for
congregate dining. A desk was moved out to make room for scooter
parking. AAA's daily average requirements were met with room to spare by
the Rohnert Park dining site. 568 congregate meals were served in Dec.
Gift Shoppe: $1,105 in sales, $102 to Senior Center, $800 paid out to 29
consignors. Currently have 55 consignors on the books. 260 visitors in Dec.
Working with agency that is selling computers to get a replacement for
theirs that broke.
Senior Advisory: No meeting in December. Next meeting is next week.
Recreation Specialist: See attached for statistics. Our Winter Picnic will be
tomorrow with 80 tickets sold. Our Holiday Party was fun with about 150 in
attendance, 3 choirs, refreshments, raffle, and photos with Santa. Several
seniors volunteered to help the RPPSOA wrap gifts for needy families. This
was mentioned in the Press Democrat and one of our seniors was
interviewed by phone, with her quoted in the article. Flu shots are over. We

are going to River Rock Casino next week. Public Safety is holding a
recruiting seminar looking for PSA's. Computer classes are now going on.
There will be our annual clothing/rummage sale on Feb. 7.
Recreation Coordinator: Baking year to date have received $127 cash,
with an average monthly expense of$7.58. Year to date supplies total is
$383.26.
Super Bowl Party donation letters have been sent. Donations from Raley's,
Safeway, Food 4 Less, Costco have been received. Cruise Party 1/17.
Black and White Ball on May 10. Sponsorship letters have gone out.
Host/hostess meeting to be held in February.
Recreation Director: City Engineer retired in Dec, now contracting for
those services. City Manager has resigned, with April 15 his official date of
resignation. City Council is recruiting for a new one. Steve Donley is
acting CM. City Council has met several times before their first scheduled
meeting. Firt budget meeting will be end of January. Streamlining boards
and commissions. Community Center was closed the two weeks during the
holidays, it worked out fine. Teen center to be razed —property purchased
for low income housing. Crushers are no more —no more league for them to
play in. Tim to work on Stadium property development.
