A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT
PARK AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
INCREASE APPROPRIATION FOR FY 2025-26 TO TRANSFER CERTAIN ASSIGNED
FUND BALANCES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park adopted the FY 2025-26
Budget on June 10, 2025; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to amend the budget; and,
WHEREAS, the City has made assignments of Fund Balances available at the end of FY
2024-25 for specific purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has concurred with those assignments and desires to
transfer the funds in accordance with the assigned purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert
Park that the foregoing recitals are true and correct and that it does hereby authorize and approve
the Finance Director to increase appropriations for FY 2025-26 from Assigned Fund Balances to
transfer funds to the Infrastructure Fund 7109 in the amount of $6,643,144 and the General
Liability Internal Service Fund 2350 in the amount of $ 613,800 for the Self-insured Losses
Reserve.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is authorized to make any
administrative adjustments necessary to process the budget amendments in accordance with
generally accepted accounting principles.
