disregard my memo of June 28, 1994)
This memorandum formally authorizes you to represent the City of
Rohnert Park in all small claims matters arising from unpaid
utility accounts, unpaid business licenses, and other unpaid
obligations or receivables owed to the City.
You may initiate or dismiss actions, examine debtors,.and pursue
any legal avenues necessary to collect money owed to the City.
Any legal action that exceeds the $5,000 limit of the Small
Claims Court should be referred to the City Attorney. The City
Attorney is available for advice should it be needed regarding
Small Claims Court actions.
