Requested Council Action:
Approve resolution authorizing the City Manager and/or his/her designee to execute notices of
completions for and on behalf of the city.
Summary:
It has been the city's practice to have the City Council, via resolution, direct the City Engineer to file
Notice of Completion (NOC) documents for city projects. In an effort to increase efficiency, reduce staff
time and increase productivity, the Engineering Department is requesting that Council approve the
enclosed resolution that would delegate authority to the City Manager and/or his designee to execute
NOC documents for and on behalf of the City of Rohnert Park.
Fiscal Impact:
Time value gain due to staff efficiency, which results in increased productivity.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND/OR HIS/HER DESIGNEE TO
EXECUTE NOTICES OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to delegate to the City Manager and/or his/her
designee the authority to execute, approve, accept, and file Notices of Completion.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert
Park that the City Manager and/or his/her designee is hereby authorized and directed to execute
Notice of Completion documents for and on behalf of the City of Rohnert Park.
DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED this 12th day of August, 2008.
