Notification- Today’s date @ 1500 hrs dispatched to a vehicle into a tree at Bodway Parkway and
Magnolia Dr, fire and medics are enroute. You respond from Starbucks on Commerce Blvd. and arrive at
1509 hrs.
Scene- Bodway Parkway- Two lane street runs North and South, 1 lane in each direction, a raised
median separates the lanes of travel. Median is raised curb 15 feet in width. SB lane has a dedicate bike
lane that is identified with a solid 4”white line and the words “Bike Lane” written in the middle of the
lane. The SB lane is 14’ wide and has a solid 4” yellow line on the east side of the street. NB lane is 14’ in
width and has a solid 4” white line on the east side. There is a solid 4” yellow line on the west side of
the NB lane of Bodway Parkway. In the center median are several mature trees that are spaced out
approximately every 30 feet.
