What does Public Safety mean?
-One of only two hybrid departments in CA
-PSO's are dual trained as both Police Officers and Firefighters
-800+ hours POST certified police academy
-585+ Hours State Board of Fire Services Firefighter Academy
-Majority are also Licensed EMT's or Paramedics
